Drones strike Russian Ust-Luga port

In the Ost-Luga region of Russia on the Baltic Sea, a fire broke out as a result of a drone attack. It is believed that Ukraine is targeting oil facilities and shipping lines to deprive Moscow of revenue and weaken its resources in the war. More than fifty drones were shot down in the Leningrad area, while efforts continue to repel attacks around Ost-Luga. This escalation is considered part of Kyiv’s strategy to target vital Russian infrastructure. Additionally, Latvian forces and Finnish fighter jets intercepted drones that entered their airspace, in an attempt to counter the repeated drone attacks.
