Egyptian-Chinese Business Meeting to Boost Exports

A "Export to China" event was held in Cairo with the aim of promoting Egyptian exports to the Chinese market. Around 170 businesspeople, as well as representatives from Egyptian and Chinese companies, participated in the event. Officials pointed out that this event represents an important step in opening the Chinese market to high-quality Egyptian products, especially given the tariff exemption policy that contributed to a 67.5% increase in exports during the first half of 2026. They also emphasized the importance of strengthening economic and integrative cooperation between the two countries, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the Chinese market, and signing trade agreements to enhance sustainable exchange and collaboration.
