Kizad Abu Dhabi to Build 1.9MW Solar Plant
The Emirati company "Union Iron & Steel UIS" has signed an agreement with "Yellow Door Energy" to establish a 1.9-megawatt solar power plant on the rooftops of the manufacturing facility in the Kizad Abu Dhabi complex. The plant will consist of approximately 3,000 solar panels spread over an area of 15,000 square meters, and is expected to generate around 3 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually, contributing to the reduction of more than 930,000 kilograms of carbon emissions each year.
