UAE Tops Arab Education Index
UAE has achieved a significant milestone in the results of the PISA 2025 international student assessment program organized by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Emirati students recorded an increase of 26 points in Science, reaching an average score of 458. Their scores in Mathematics rose by 21 points to 453, while Reading improved by 15 points to 433. The UAE topped the Arab countries in these areas and successfully enhanced its performance compared to the 2022 cycle, while other nations experienced declines. This success is attributed to curriculum development, teacher training, and strengthened digital readiness, with 81.7% of students able to evaluate information using artificial intelligence, and 96.3% working according to specific guidelines with digital devices. Additionally, the Emirate of Dubai exhibited advanced performance, surpassing both the national average and the OECD average, reflecting comprehensive improvement efforts and innovation within the education system to support future skills.
