The Yemeni Ministry of Human Rights announced that 150 civilians have been killed and more than 200 injured due to the Houthi military escalation since the beginning of September in the provinces of Taiz, Hodeidah, and Marib. This initial toll comes alongside the displacement of approximately 85,000 people from their homes. Additionally, the International Organization for Migration estimates that around 2,000 individuals have arrived in Djibouti as a result of the escalation. The ministry called on the international community to take immediate action to halt the targeting of civilians and to ensure the protection of displaced persons and medical facilities, especially amid the intensified fighting between the Houthis and government forces on multiple fronts since the start of this month.
