China-US Trade Talks Yield Progress

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce announced that the eighth round of economic and trade consultations between China and the United States resulted in mutual positive progress, strengthening economic cooperation and aiming to improve trade relations between the two countries. Additionally, there was consensus to initiate a dialogue on the risks and benefits associated with artificial intelligence, as well as ongoing discussions regarding the extension of economic arrangements until January 2027. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to increasing cooperation and achieving positive long-term results.
