Netanyahu details Fly Dubai incident
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that the crew of the "Fly Dubai" aircraft successfully thwarted an attempted terrorist attack onboard the flight from Dubai to Israel. He explained that the pilots managed to change the flight’s course, preventing a potential disaster, and noted that the incident is comparable in severity to the aftermath of the September 11 attacks, though it was ultimately successful in the good side's response to the attack. He emphasized that Israel did not receive any prior warning about the incident and stated that ongoing investigations will determine the motives of the attacker, whom Israel described as attempting a terrorist act. Meanwhile, the UAE announced that the plane made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia, resulting in injuries that have been treated.
