Egypt and Ethiopia exchange diplomat expulsions

Ethiopia announced its decision to declare an Egyptian diplomat as a "persona non grata" and informed the Cairo embassy in Addis Ababa of the need for him to leave the country within 48 hours. This came in response to a similar decision by Egypt against an Ethiopian embassy advisor in Cairo. The reasons remain unclear up to now, and this exchange is part of a diplomatic escalation aimed at expressing the tension between the two countries.
