Taiz fronts halt Houthi push

The current battles in Yemen's Taiz Governorate focus on the government forces' efforts to defend against Houthi attacks and their targeting of reinforcements and movements through intensive aerial operations. Yemeni forces carried out 75 airstrikes within 24 hours on Houthi positions, targeting gatherings, vehicles, arms depots, and command centers across various areas of Taiz, Sana'a, Saada, and Hajja, aiming to disrupt Houthi supply lines and mobility. The clashes have resulted in the Houthis retreating and suffering hundreds of casualties, including killed and wounded, while government forces have regained control of important areas and solidified their positions. Despite ongoing attempts by the Houthis to seize the city and impose a blockade, these operations are part of broad military efforts to protect the city and weaken Houthi capabilities. There are ongoing warnings about the movement of supply routes and the group's ongoing attempts to reclaim territory through widespread attacks on multiple fronts.
