Heavy Rains Disrupt Traffic and Flood Camps

Heavy rainfall in the governorates of Aleppo, Idlib, and Latakia caused traffic disruptions and damage to many homes and camps. In Aleppo, water flooded basement areas of houses and traffic came to a halt in neighborhoods such as Salahuddin and Seyf al-Dawla. Emergency teams began work to clean drainage systems and repair damages. In Latakia, trees were removed and drainage networks were opened to assist with water runoff, with limited material damages. As for Idlib, camps were affected due to water entering residences, and Civil Defense teams worked to remove debris and re-route water to ensure the safety of residents.
