Fernandes defends Ronaldo before Portugal-Norway
Bruno Fernandes confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo's crisis will not affect the Portugal national team's focus ahead of their UEFA Nations League match against Norway, and that Ronaldo's status as a symbol of the country will remain preserved despite media disagreements. Fernandes explained that he has spoken with Ronaldo but declined to go into excessive detail, emphasizing that the player will continue to be the greatest icon of the national team and Portugal. He urged fans not to divide themselves or create internal discord over the controversy. Regarding the match, Fernandes highlighted the difficulty of facing Norway and assured that criticisms or Ronaldo's personal circumstances do not impact the players' performance.
