Royal Air Maroc denies Flydubai staff link

It was mentioned that Royal Air Maroc denied that the flight assistant accused of attempting to carry out a terrorist operation onboard a Flydubai flight had previously worked for them. They clarified that he had not been employed there yet, following the completion of selection assessments, and that he underwent three months of theoretical training in 2025, but did not secure a position. Meanwhile, Emirati authorities confirmed that the assistant began executing his plan during the flight, attacking the pilot with an emergency ax and attempting to seize control of the aircraft's controls. Investigations are ongoing to uncover the motives and circumstances. The authorities have not yet disclosed the identities of the pilot or the assistant. An emergency situation occurred on the Dubai to Tel Aviv flight after the crew was assaulted.
