Al-Saidi: Launch of military operations to retake remaining lands

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of Yemen, Rashad al-Alimi, announced the start of military operations to reclaim the remaining territories of Yemen and reestablish the authority of the state and its institutions, following the failure of efforts towards ceasefire. This move comes after all diplomatic avenues have been exhausted, with Al-Alimi emphasizing that the war is not against Sana'a or Saada, but a fight for Yemen’s unity and sovereignty. He also called on the international community and allies for assistance. Additionally, Al-Alimi pledged that cities reclaimed will undergo reconstruction and that water passages will be protected.
