Asian Cup 2027 Stadium Sets Record
The construction company of the "Aramco" Stadium in the city of Khobar, Saudi Arabia, successfully entered the Guinness World Records by operating 92 cranes simultaneously, surpassing the previous record of 60 cranes. This achievement reflects a high level of organization and safety on the construction site. The stadium spans an area of 800,000 square meters and can accommodate approximately 47,000 spectators. It is being prepared to serve as one of the main venues for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup final and the 2034 FIFA World Cup. Weather expert Khaled Zraq humorously joked about the power of the stadium's cooling systems, emphasizing that innovative technology ensures a comfortable environment inside the stadium despite the climatic conditions. The stadium features a design inspired by the fluidity of water, holds the highest sustainability rating, and incorporates advanced systems for turf care, alongside modern facilities such as parking lots, bridges, and upgraded amenities.
