Residents in Al-Turbah greet Houthi forces
A video clip was circulated on social media showing a festive reception for Houthi forces in Turbah city, in Taiz Governorate. However, CNN Arabic has uncovered that the narrative associated with the video is misleading and not related to recent military developments in the area. The video dates back to September and features signs related to Al-Mokha, which was under Houthi control at the time. It is now being used to promote claims of their control over Tura. At the same time, the Yemeni government announced the launch of a large-scale military operation on the western coast to counter the Houthis' advances since last month.
