Shark rescued from fishing line in Qatari waters

A whale shark was rescued in Qatari waters after a rope became tangled around its tail, during its feeding season at the Shahin oil field. A team of photographers, led by Ezzam Al-Munai, conducted a careful operation that took about 20 minutes to remove the rope without harming the animal, highlighting the dangers of marine debris such as ropes, nets, and plastics that threaten marine life. The incident underscores the importance of raising awareness about protecting the marine environment and calls for taking action to reduce ocean pollution caused by human waste.
