The Syrian Ministry of Information confirmed that Damascus's policy is based on stability, peace, and cooperation. It emphasized its firm support for Saudi Arabia in facing threats aimed at its security and stability. The ministry clarified that military cooperation with partner countries is conducted solely through official channels and that Syria is focused on rebuilding its country and strengthening its institutions. The Syrian Presidential Advisor for Media denied the authenticity of reports claiming that Syria has requested military assistance from Saudi Arabia or Yemen. He stated that the rumors about sending Syrian forces to Saudi Arabia or Yemen are false. These statements come in response to Western reports alleging that Syria is considering providing military aid to Saudi Arabia, including protecting the kingdom from attacks or deploying forces to confront the Houthis in Yemen, at a time when Yemen is experiencing ongoing military escalation and security developments, with attacks on Saudi airports and the destruction of ballistic missile platforms.
