Ongoing blasts and monitoring in Lebanon's "Experimental Zone"
The article discusses the situation in towns in southern Lebanon within the framework of the "Experimental Area" plan launched by Israel concurrently with its gradual withdrawal from certain regions, aiming to reduce tensions with Hezbollah and disarmament. As part of this plan, demolitions of homes have been carried out using explosions that Israel has attempted to execute in some occupied towns. However, the withdrawal plan from Western Zgharta has not achieved its desired results, as Israeli forces still occupy the area and continue to monitor the residents using drones. The local population suffers from the destruction of their homes and increasing security risks, amid ongoing tensions and restrictions on movement. The Experimental Area plan is part of efforts to enhance security, but it faces criticism and has failed to fully meet its objectives.
