Houthis Strike Riyadh Again

Saudi Arabia reported that the Yemeni Houthi group once again targeted Riyadh with a ballistic missile, resulting in damage to a kindergarten and a medical clinic complex in the capital. The missile was intercepted and destroyed. This escalation comes after three people were killed and 36 injured in previous attacks on Abha and King Khalid airports. The ongoing military operations between the Houthis and Saudi- and Yemeni-led forces have included attacks on King Khalid and Nahran airports, as well as an airbase, disrupting air traffic and causing damage to the targeted areas. These attacks were accompanied by Saudi airstrikes on Houthi-controlled sites in Yemen, resulting in casualties and damage to military targets. Amid heightened statements and warnings from the Houthis, who threatened to target Saudi oil facilities, the situation remains tense. The Arab League and several countries condemned these assaults, as the military escalation in Yemen continues and the number of people missing due to ongoing clashes rises.
