Trump Criticizes Nobel Prize Award
The Nobel Committee celebrates the awarding of the prize to Judge Navi Pillay, who issued reports accusing Israel of committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, sparking widespread Israeli protests, which considered that granting her legitimacy fosters hatred and bias against her. Some sources emphasize that Pillay has played a central role in defending international law and pursuing war criminals, amid escalating Israeli criticisms and their decision to condemn the award. This award comes in the context of increasing controversy surrounding human rights in Palestinian territories, with international bodies praising Pillay's courage and integrity.
