Lebanese army intercepts smuggling attempts

The Lebanese army managed to thwart two separate smuggling operations along the border with Syria. They confiscated drugs intended for smuggling into Syria, including approximately 60 kilograms of cannabis, 35 kilograms of Captagon, and 22 kilograms of marijuana, along with a pistol and ammunition. Additionally, they discovered a quantity of rocket shells and 24 kilograms of highly explosive TNT that were meant to be smuggled into Lebanon. An armed clash also took place in Arsal's wilderness with a Lebanese citizen involved in smuggling, but no injuries occurred during this incident. The Lebanese forces continue to monitor smuggling activities and pursue those involved.
