Officials: Trump selects Katie Z

Sources from the White House reported that U.S. President Donald Trump has selected Katie Zakaria to assume the role of White House Press Secretary, after consulting with his allies and advisors, including former spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt. Zakaria, who has been working since June with the Trump Media Group and the "Truth Social" platform, has previous experience as a commentator on both "Newsmax" and "Fox News." She also worked for two months at the Department of Homeland Security. This choice comes amid differing opinions regarding the future of the current press secretary, Caroline Leavitt, who is considered a prominent figure in political discussions.
