Putin links Kyiv’s actions to stalled talks

A report discusses a phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump, during which it was confirmed that Kyiv attempted to hinder the resumption of trilateral negotiations concerning the Ukrainian crisis by launching attacks on polling stations during the Duma elections, resulting in a disruption of efforts to restart dialogue. The report also notes that Trump and Putin agreed that cooperation in the energy sector, particularly the supply of Russian oil and diesel, would help improve the global economic situation. Trump announced that Russia would export over 300,000 tons of diesel to international markets, with expectations of larger quantities in the coming months. The call also covered the possibility of resuming negotiations between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine at a later time, following a decrease in military escalation, with Trump sending a message to be conveyed to the Ukrainian delegation in Miami.
