Kyiv's response to lifting US Russian diesel limits

The main article explains that U.S. President Donald Trump had a successful phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which they agreed on Russia supplying a large quantity of diesel fuel to the global market. Russia will initially export over 300,000 tons of diesel, with a gradual increase up to three million tons, aiming to reduce the worldwide high diesel prices. The statements confirmed that this agreement is an important step toward alleviating the fuel price surge crisis. Meanwhile, Kyiv expressed surprise at the American announcement, with Ukrainian officials considering that the Ukrainian regime is launching attacks on Russian energy facilities, which led Moscow to ban diesel exports. The report indicates that the deal reflects an improvement in communication channels between the two countries, and that cooperation in the energy sector will benefit global markets and lower diesel prices, amid fears of a potential military escalation in the region.
