Riyadh Airport hit by new attack

King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was subjected to a new attack today, Saturday, leading to its evacuation and the suspension of flight operations after loud explosions were heard. More than 12 ambulances were dispatched to the airport, and all flights heading to Riyadh were canceled or diverted, with some cancellations continuing until Monday. This attack follows a series of assaults on the airport over the past week, which resulted in four deaths and multiple injuries, amidst escalating military operations between the Saudi-led coalition and the Houthis in Yemen. These developments come ahead of Riyadh hosting two conferences on energy and investment, amid intensified fighting in Yemen and the Houthis' attempts to impose a blockade on maritime navigation.
