Polish police alert over possible attack on leaders

Poland is preparing to implement strict security measures after police received information about a potential plot to assassinate Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Minister of Defense Vojciech Koczniak Kamei. This comes amid a state of heightened alert following an increase in school violence, which has resulted in one woman’s death and injuries to others. A total of 117 people have been detained due to threats or possession of weapons, and thorough inspections have been carried out at 64,000 schools, along with ongoing efforts to prevent further attacks. Authorities have attributed the surge in these incidents to the influence of the internet and electronic games that promote violence, warning of a rising culture of violence among youth and an increase in threats through social media platforms.
