Two killed during olive harvest in southern Lebanon
Two people lost their lives in South Lebanon during the olive harvest season. One died in an explosion caused by remnants of weapons from previous conflicts in the town of Faroun, while the other was killed by Israeli artillery shelling on the outskirts of Yater while inspecting his land. These remnants of war are leftover debris from past conflicts, with one exploding near citizens harvesting olives, resulting in the death of one of them. Meanwhile, Israeli shelling targeted a retired person from Yater. Explosions and the sound of aircraft continued over the harvesting areas, and reports indicated that harvesting activities had been temporarily halted until Lebanese army forces intervened to clear the area.
