Washington warns of cutting Ukraine aid

Reports show that the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump warned Ukraine and its European allies against ceasing intelligence sharing and American weapons purchases if Kyiv continues to target Russian energy facilities. The threats include halting military intelligence cooperation and stopping arms procurement, especially as such actions would significantly impact Ukraine’s defense capabilities, including the heavily depleted Patriot missile shipments. These developments come amidst tensions between Trump and Zelensky, with relations worsening over the energy law negotiated by both sides, amidst warnings that these measures could hinder support for Ukrainian forces in countering Russian attacks.
