Netanyahu aide hid October 7 documents
A report reveals that the director of Benjamin Netanyahu's office concealed approximately 30 security discussion records from the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, as part of an attempt to craft a false narrative about Netanyahu’s performance during Hamas's attack on October 7, 2023. A key phone call made that morning was manually edited, changing the time from 06:40 to 06:29, in an effort to conceal the early government response to the attack. It is believed that these modifications were made to enhance Netanyahu’s image and minimize the government’s responsibility for security failures prior to the assault. Both the original file and the modified version have been recovered, and officials are suspected of committing forgery, with evidence indicating the concealment of important security records.
