Global Hunger Risks Rise Due to Conflicts and Aid Cuts

Global progress in combating hunger has declined, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa where conditions have worsened since 2018. Seven out of eight countries in the region are classified as seriously affected, with the world's three largest severe food security crises also located there.
