Mainland sanctions firm supporting Taiwan independence

A Chinese government spokesperson announced that the mainland has imposed sanctions on a company linked to a separatist advocating for "Taiwan independence." This action comes after the company continued its commercial dealings with mainland Chinese firms in an apparent attempt to evade previous sanctions. The measures include prohibiting VWAY from engaging with organizations, companies, and individuals in China. This step was taken following the discovery that Shen Tu-zheng, father of the separatist Shen Bao-yang, had tried to bypass sanctions by using alternative companies. The spokesperson reaffirmed that China rejects all separatist activities aimed at Taiwan's independence and considers Taiwan an inseparable part of China. While China respects legitimate freedoms of expression, it does not condone collusion with separatist forces that benefit from development on the mainland.
