Qalibaf Shares Iran's Strategy to Achieve Goals

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf revealed Tehran's strategy in engaging in both war and diplomacy to achieve its objectives. He emphasized that Iran employs both approaches simultaneously to strengthen its military and economic power. He explained that understanding with the United States has helped increase Iran's resilience and bolster the role of Hezbollah in Lebanon, while military action remains a means to force the adversary to accept its demands. He also noted that this understanding has provided Iran with resources and opportunities to enhance its regional standing, despite internal criticism from conservative circles. In terms of operations, Iran carried out attacks on six ships in the Strait of Hormuz in a single day, coinciding with stalled negotiations to revive the nuclear deal and ongoing tensions in the region.
