Houthis claim Saada missile attack on Saudi jet
The Yemeni Houthi movement announced that it targeted a Saudi fighter jet, a Typhoon, in the skies over Saada Province with a surface-to-air missile, as part of their response to Saudi attacks on Sana'a. Houthi forces also carried out missile and drone attacks on oil facilities and an airport in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, other attacks resulted in the death of two people in Al Hudaydah Province. Saudi officials confirmed that they targeted Houthi sites and warned of the consequences of repeated assaults. These operations are part of an ongoing military escalation between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia, with both sides claiming to have targeted important facilities inside Saudi Arabia. International and domestic warnings have been issued about the continuous escalation and its potential impact on regional security.
