Efforts to deport Omar face criticism

The article concerns federal investigations targeting Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar, during which her home was raided, and her phone and passport were confiscated. There are reports suggesting an attempt to revoke her U.S. citizenship to deport her from the country. The investigations focus on the process of obtaining her citizenship after arriving from Somalia, aiming to build a legal case for her deportation. Leaks indicate that the ultimate goal is to strip her of her citizenship as a step before her deportation.
