Barcelona strike before Real Madrid match
Employees with fixed-term contracts at Barcelona Club have announced a three-day strike, starting from midnight on October 23 and lasting until 6 a.m. on October 26, protesting poor working conditions, staff shortages, and discrimination within the club. This strike coincides with the upcoming Clasico against Real Madrid scheduled for October 25 at the Camp Nou, and it is affecting the sports facilities and various team activities. However, Barcelona Club has confirmed that the strike will not threaten the staging of matches and that it has the organizational capacity to ensure the events proceed normally. The union is demanding a 50% increase in staff numbers and improved salaries, with the club respecting their demands and being ready to engage in dialogue.
