Knight Hero 3 aids Gaza healthcare
As part of Operation "Knight Hero 3" to support the healthcare sector in Gaza, the United Arab Emirates provided aid that included establishing two medical centers, conducting medical convoy missions, and supplying over 600,000 doses of polio vaccine, in addition to introducing 27 fully equipped ambulances. The field hospital in Rafah treated more than 54,000 patients and injuries. UAE initiatives also facilitated the evacuation of approximately 3,000 patients for treatment in the UAE to ease the pressure on local healthcare facilities, while mobile clinics addressed the health needs of displaced persons.
