The British Telegraph newspaper reported that the Houthi group is seeking to enhance its missile capabilities by manufacturing parts of ballistic missiles, particularly the Iranian Khaybar Shaken series, which has a range of over a thousand kilometers. Investigations have shown that the Houthis have obtained missile components, raw materials, and testing equipment from Chinese suppliers, according to documents and shipments that were destined for them. Reports also confirm that the group is aiming to produce advanced local parts to reduce its dependence on Iran and to strengthen its military stability, utilizing precise manufacturing tools and materials that can be used in the production of missiles and drones. The reports view this cooperation with China as part of a broader strategy to challenge and pressure the United States, achieving strategic gains through China's indirect support for the Houthis.
