Egyptian Parliament Delays Saudi Support Approval

The Egyptian parliament's position regarding authorizing military support to Saudi Arabia has not yet been decided. More than half of the members requested clarifications about the nature, scope, and duration of the military mission, amid ongoing discussions and additional sessions. This followed a meeting of the National Defense Council, which approved dispatching forces to support Saudi Arabia, but the final vote remains pending constitutional and security clarifications, especially in light of escalating regional tensions and attacks on Saudi Arabia. The parliamentary process aims to ensure constitutional approval before any potential Egyptian military action.
