French Prime Minister rules on PSG vs Barcelona
The French Prime Minister confirmed that there are no plans to cancel the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona in the Champions League, despite the security tensions and violent protests that Paris has experienced, including clashes with police, arrests, and heightened tension around the Parc des Princes stadium. The authorities imposed strict security measures around the stadium, with extensive reinforcements for surveillance, particularly on the routes used by fans, even though bad weather caused delays to Barcelona's flights. The Catalan team enters the match on an 11-match winning streak, despite significant defensive absences, aiming to strengthen their lead amid security and weather challenges.
