Lebanese President urges strict law enforcement

The article focused on Lebanese President Joseph Aoun's efforts to strengthen firearm control and prevent armed displays in the country, especially amid increasing disagreements with Hezbollah regarding the powers of security agencies and the enforcement of state laws. It emphasized the need for strict implementation of laws, confiscation of weapons, and swift justice, along with the importance of ongoing coordination between security and military forces. It also called for an increased security presence in areas not under Israeli occupation. These measures follow security incidents, including a raid on a pharmaceutical warehouse in the southern suburbs and conflicts related to the shipment of explosives and security issues with Hezbollah, which is demanding the return of weapons that it claims are solely for fighting Israel.
