Turkish protests against dual national supporting Israel

Pro-Palestinian activists in Istanbul protested against a woman named Claudia Medina, who holds both Turkish and Israeli nationalities. They accused her of assisting Israeli soldiers and facilitating their entry into Turkey, particularly in connection with allegations that she organized medical tourism trips and hosted Israeli soldiers in hotels and hospitals. The protests took place mainly inside the Estania Park Center and led to security forces intervening and evacuating the venue. These events sparked widespread discussion on social media, with some activists linking the incident to the Israeli war on Gaza. The situation follows a Turkish movement filing a formal complaint against Medina, amid criticism from Israel accusing Turkey of tolerating anti-Israeli sentiments and of escalating tensions between the two sides through images circulating online.
