Yemen: 53 Dead in Shabwa Shelling
More than 53 recruits were killed, and over 200 others injured, in a Houthi missile attack using ballistic missiles on a security training center in Shabwa Governorate, Yemen, while the new recruits were undergoing their training. The Yemeni government has called on the international community, headed by the United Nations, to classify the Houthi group as a terrorist organization and to impose a ban on arming and funding them in order to cut off their sources of threat. Officials confirmed that the attack reflects the Houthi approach, vowing to respond decisively, and called for international support to ensure lasting peace and protect civilians.
