Egyptian volleyball team secures 2027 qualifier
The Egyptian men's volleyball team has qualified for the 2027 World Championship in Poland, marking the 12th appearance in the team's history and the 9th consecutive one. This qualification was achieved through the world rankings rather than their results in the African Nations Championship, from which they were eliminated in the quarter-finals. The team secured their spot by ranking 14th globally out of 15 teams, as the qualification draw is determined based on the world standings. Alongside Egypt, countries such as Bulgaria, Germany, and Serbia also qualified. This achievement reflects the efforts of the Egyptian Volleyball Federation to prepare a strong team capable of competing at both continental and global levels, with a focus on delivering impressive performances in the tournament scheduled for September 2027.
