Seven Dead in Gaza Fire

Seven Palestinians were killed, and others were injured by Israeli gunfire in the Gaza Strip, marking an escalation in fighting despite a ceasefire in effect. Hamas considered this a blatant and repeated violation that threatens international mediation efforts. Israeli airstrikes and shelling resulted in civilian casualties in various areas, including Zawaida, Jabalya, the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, and Gaza Valley, as well as in Khan Younis, where a 15-year-old boy was killed. Hamas called on the international community and the United Nations to pressure Israel to cease the attacks and allow aid to enter, highlighting that the death toll since the start of the war in October 2023 has exceeded 74,000, with 175,000 wounded. They emphasized that the escalation worsens the humanitarian crisis in the sector.
