Musk reportedly slowed Starlink in Ukraine

The article contains information about claims that Elon Musk ordered a reduction in the speed of Starlink satellite internet services, which Ukraine relies on for its military operations. This amid rising tensions between Kyiv and Washington regarding the network's use and its impact on military activities and energy. The White House stated that it was not aware in advance of any restrictions on Starlink service intended for Ukraine, and the Trump administration denied involvement in the decision. Additionally, officials indicated that Musk and SpaceX had discussions with the White House about the matter, and no official orders had been issued by the U.S. government to cut back the service. Starlink is used for military communication in Ukraine, while the issue of imposing restrictions remains controversial, with the U.S. government’s direct involvement in such decisions being ruled out.
