The article focused on the ongoing military escalation by the Houthis in Taiz Governorate, Yemen, with increased shelling of residential neighborhoods and healthcare facilities. The number of civilian casualties has risen, with 8 civilians documented killed and 26 wounded within 48 hours. This has led to the destruction or damage of several healthcare facilities and threatened the ability of hospitals to provide services due to the blockade of medicines and fuel, as well as the looting of medical equipment and the targeting of ambulances.
