Macron's undisclosed Saudi visit with MBS

The recent visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to France focused on strengthening mutual cooperation and coordinating efforts to confront regional and international challenges, particularly the attacks faced by Saudi Arabia from the Iran-backed Houthis, which include missile and drone strikes on vital facilities. The two sides discussed ways to enhance strategic relations between the two countries, including extending Saudi energy supplies to France and coordinating efforts to secure oil supplies and critical transit routes such as the Strait of Hormuz. The visit comes as part of France's efforts to support Saudi Arabia in confronting security threats and to deepen cooperation on issues of mutual interest, with an emphasis on energy security and regional stability.
