Israeli and US officials confirm jets near borders

The Israeli Air Force conducted a sortie involving dozens of fighter jets and refueling aircraft near Iran's borders, passing through Syrian and Iraqi airspace, with the aim of deterring Iran, according to American and Israeli reports. This maneuver, which took place before the upcoming Israeli elections scheduled for October 27, is a military exercise designed to demonstrate Israeli strength and to deter Iran from launching attacks. It is also expected that any escalation could lead to greater conflict or potentially delay the elections. Israel confirmed that the goal was to warn Iran, while Prime Minister Netanyahu accused Iran of attempting to develop deadly nuclear weapons, emphasizing the need to overthrow the Iranian regime to confront nuclear threats.
