Dammam Airport attack toll rises to two

The death toll from the attack on Dammam Airport in eastern Saudi Arabia has risen to two, with an additional citizen and Indian resident succumbing to their injuries. Previously, one resident had been killed and eight people of various nationalities—including Indian, Yemeni, Nepali, and Bangladeshi—were injured as a result of the attack targeting King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. The situation has been brought under control, and operations at the airport have resumed. This attack occurs amidst a rise in Houthi militia strikes against targets in Saudi Arabia, including airports and oil facilities, using drones and missiles since tensions began escalating in Yemen last July.
