Settlers seize Palestinians' olives amid rising violence

The article discusses the escalation of Israeli settlers' assaults on Palestinian olive farmers in the West Bank during the harvest season. Incidents of widespread crop theft and physical assaults have increased, alongside systematic Israeli interventions, including restrictions on Palestinians' access to their lands and army actions to uproot trees under the pretext of preventing Palestinian attacks. Reports indicate there have been 125 physical assaults and 168 thefts since the season began, with violence intensifying ahead of Israeli elections. Palestinians and human rights organizations accuse this of being part of a deliberate campaign of ethnic cleansing aimed at consolidating control and expanding settlements in the occupied territories. The article also condemns the international community's stance, as the UN and global bodies deem settlement activities illegal, highlighting the Israeli government's stubbornness and measures that hinder Palestinians' right to harvest their crops, thereby escalating assaults and further exacerbating tensions.
